White Water rafting Middlesbrough

This adrenalin-soaked 2-hour rafting experience is designed to put your paddle power to the ultimate test! On arrival, you and your crew will be given a short safety briefing, followed by a crash course on the art of white water rafting. But once you have mastered the basics it is time to take to the water where you'll be facing the Jubilee run. The Jubilee course combines stretches of fast-flowing white water, with sections of machine-made rapids and can be made as hard as your instructor sees fit. So get ready for things to get seriously interesting once you've conquered the course a couple of times!

The 2-hour session includes a safety briefing, kitting up, and a crash course in rafting. Then, it's out onto the water for an hour of action-packed rafting fun.

Important information:

All Participants must be 14 years or older, able to swim 25 metres, and weigh no more than 16 stone. Customers will need to bring something to go under their wetsuit and a set of footwear they don’t mind getting wet.

Please ensure to check-in at reception 30 minutes prior to your activity session to accommodate filling out a medical consent form, outfitting and safety briefings. For example, if your session is scheduled for 10am, please arrive by 9:30am at the latest. Late arrivals may result in a reduced session on the water. The actual time on the water will be 60 minutes.

Participants will be provided with a helmet, buoyancy aid, wetsuit, waterproof jacket, and paddle. They are required to bring their own wet-suitable footwear, swimwear, towel, and toiletries for use after the session. Onsite changing facilities are available for customers, and a 20p coin is needed for the lockers.

Participants need to be 14 years of age or older.

These experiences are very weather-dependent or could encounter staff/mechanical problems. On such occasions, the date will be rescheduled to a new convenient date that is available.
